Harvest Sun, Month Canto

Offering a detailed, lush, medieval fantasy environment with opportunities for epic tales and excitement lurking at every turn, TEAIR NOVA is a haven for writers that yearn for something different from the norm. Nova is a large Kingdom smack dab in the middle of a grand forest and edge of a jagged Mountain Pass; on a planet called Teair. People from all over the world flock to the capital Kingdom Nova because it's very special: Ruled by gods; A fallen deity by the name of Fate has found a way to bring other beings from different worlds, future time and or history into the planet through a crystal called " Soul " . With every being brought to the world of Teair, They always seem to spawn in kingdom Nova..... Or it used to be that way until rumors of Fated Rebels started to spread...

Now those who are ported into the world are spawning in a place called Gallows Bane, a underground town outside of Nova built to protect the beings that are dubbed 'Fated' -- counted on how they arrived here by 'HIS' the God of Destiny's power, Fate. Right now The Fated are not liked so much; Plus the native folks of Nova are on edge after what happened during a horrible explosion caused by the rumored Rebels to free a "Fated" traitor during a execution. With the outlaw woman at large; the King of Nova has become on edge. Nova is becoming dangerous.... So do you dare to enter and change the outcome of this world?

First, register an account for your first character or a sub-account if this is your second character..

Once you have a character in mind, head on over to out Character Sheets . There you'll find the joining form. Just follow the instructions and you're ready to play! Introduce yourself! We recommend having Discord as a lot of plotting and socializing and general zaniness goes on over Teair Nova Discord ChatGroup.

So you've registered, introduced yourself, and joined your character. What now? It's a pretty big forum and there are a ton of threads going on! It's understandable if you feel lost of overwhelmed with no idea where to even begin!

But fear not! There are things you can do!

Head on over to the Plotter area, or Crier board areas! Read other people's plot requests and see if there are any there that interest you and if there are, then answer them. If none suit you, then post your own plotting request and see who bites! Seek out open threads! Look around the board for any threads marked as "Open", and check out our Grand Open List Keeper. If you can't find any that suit you, then start your own! Pimp that shit out at the Plotting Center and make sure to add it to the List Keeper so that people have a higher chance of noticing it!

Create a Character Journal to get your characters noticed. Check out other peoples' character Journals and see if anyone has any characters you'd like to RP with. If they do, respond to their thread or shoot them a message!

Talk to People! Chat in the cbox or discord and make friends! Check out peoples' profile information and see if they have any contact info listed. If they do, grab them on Discord or PM. Talk to them and try and see if you can plot with them. Or join the Teair Skype Group and make friends!

If at first you don't succeed, Try again! Be persistent and throw yourself out there! Don't wait for people to come to you; approach them yourself. No one bites...In fact, people tend to be flattered when you show an interest in their threads and characters.

Character Death

When your character dies, you have two (2) options:
  • Create a new character. You know, Because your old one has died.
  • Resurrect and gain a Major flaw via Death Affliction.

Whenever a character dies, he or she will receive a death affliction, which is a quirk that changes your character's behavior involuntarily and will remain. The death affliction is decided upon by a member of the staff or a QM and is related to the circumstances of the death.

Example Your character has died from a spider bite. Once you resurrect your character, you now have arachnophobia, causing you to involuntarily freak out whenever you encounter spiders even if you are not afraid of spiders in real life.

Other examples of death afflictions include kleptomania, acrophobia, etc.

Below are ways to become resurrected in the world of Teair Nova.
  • By a divine being such as a house pantheon.
  • By Staff permission only.
